Incredible content...thank you. Have read and used the title of Li Bai's poem as a start for a paper after doing much research on the topic. Much of what you have written is familiar but I did not know about Joseph Needham. Appreciate your work!

"Flight to Shu"....just wanted to mention that this famous painting's image can be viewed on the Met. of Art website. Go to "Gallery" search "Flight to Shu." Interesting, "Tang Dynasty Times" lead me to information about this painting. Twenty-five years ago I found a reproduction of the "Flight to Shu painting at a swap meet. I have been told it is a very old lithograph. I would like to know more about how my copy was made and where it was reproduced. It is absolutely beautiful and emotionally magnetic.
